flash new bios?
ive got the 7004 bios on my radeon 8500 and im wondering if Id get a performance increase if i'd flash my radeon to the newest 7008 bios? Or is the new bios only to solve problems and not to increase performance/image quality?

There was a 7.006 and a 7.008 BIOS released by ATI for the OEM manufacturers (GigaByte and Saphhire) to be used on their cards to solve some issues they were having. Either way...if you got 7.004 BIOS installed now, I would recomment you leave it the way it is since you won't see any difference at all. Hope this helps you out... |
