Default Post the computer always reboot under Windows Xp

"After installing the drivers, the computer always reboot under Windows Xp and Windows 2K "
That's a quote from the Hercules driver readmeof fixes in their 7.72drivers. Here's my problem;
Lately, any newer drivers, Catalyst, or Omega or leaked, with or without the Control Panel, I get chronic reboots. I turned off XP's reboot on error feature, so now it's BSOD's.
When I uninstall whatever vers. driver I'm trying and go back to no drivers, XP is putting in 6094. With those, no problems. Also when installing the latest driversets I get a Severe error message"Zero Display Service Error" When I say it reboots chronicly, I mean it, sometimes windows doesn't even finish loading, other times it may stay up 30secs., then 30 min, then it will reboot 5 times in 5 minutes. With default XP 6094's never reboots.
Some of the Stop#'s from the bsod's are 0x0000008E,0x00000506.
So back to the Hercules quote, are they familiar with this and thats what they fixed?
Can you run Hercules drivers on a ATI card? Anyone familiar with this? I'm going to try Omegas newest now then check back.
One more thing, I seem to be missing Control Set 1 in my registry, is that bad?

Well... 6094 is the latest SUPPORTED driver and if it works, then use it. You have to keep in mind that the "latest versions" are leaks and they are not supported by ATI and they are not guaranteed to raise performance, to raise stability or to even work. So... if 6094 works, just don't upgrade until the next release.

Also, are you doing a clean install of your drivers when you update them?

Does it do it when you're not overclocked?

I researched some of the error codes, and one of them did point at a possible RAM problem. I turned things down to 167x10, and now running Omega102's with no BSOD's so far. F****ng Kingcrap RAM, DDR 400, my ass. If Iwill ever puts out a new improved bios for this MB things may improve. But for now I'm happy to have found the problem.(I hope)
