Which Catalyst Version are you using?
Post here which version you are using and why (and what video card)
For me:
Catalyst 3.4, because I am lazy.
upgrading to 3.6 on the 8500dv now though.

driver version: omega 2.4.74a (latest omega driver based on cats 3.6)
card: Radeon 9700 Pro (some OEM one dunno)
works like a charm... and the newer drivers finally allow FSAA to work properly in the damn Tom Clancy games (RVS AND SC)

I'm using CAT 3.4 officials. (I'll likely update them to Omega's based 3.4s soon.)
The main reason I'm using these is due to the fact that I can't reboot my computer with the Video Out connected using any of the CAT 3.5 or 3.6 based drivers. That goes for Omega's as well. My monitor goes out of sync just as soon as it reaches Windows.
I generally have no problem with the 3.4s anyway. I just like to keep up with the latest and greatest....but, when the 'greatest' doesn't fit, I have to go with the ones that work at all.
EDIT: NOW using Omega's CAT 3.4s

ATI as you guys know are always striving to bring out better drivers, with bug fixes etc, but as you know I cant really talk about them, im under NDA. I just find 3.6 work best on my specific rig, but there are always new betas just around the corner.
3.6 official are a really good all round set, well they have been for me. I dont get time to play with omegas sets much nowadays as im always testing betas.

I wish they fixed SC for me, still have that annoying FSAA problem. Ugh, the main reason I haven't played this game in months and still have yet to beat it.

Omega 3.5's on a 9700 Pro with the 9800 hack. They work great on every game that I have installed on my rig.
I tried the official 3.6's but did not have much luck. Besides, Omega's driver are always the best.

Well I upgraded my 8500dv system to the 3.6's, and I couldn't be happier! I absolutely love them! Going to install them on my 32DDR systems now!

I'm using the 3.5 hotfix drivers. They fixed and infinite loop problem I had with one game with 3.4 and below.
The 3.6's gave me flickering/missing textures in some games.

would you say 3.5 is better than 3.4 or just try them for myself and see?

3.5 gave me better bench scores than 3.4 (except in 3Dmark03), that's the only difference I saw

Using Omega 2.4.60 (Cat 3.5)
Best results, best IQ i.m.o.
With Omega 2.4.74a (Cat 3.6)
I also get flickering textures.
Maybe this will be solved with Cat 3.7
