I had problems with the install of the drivers but was able to continue. I have an unexpected anomily though. I received a load of new hardware founds of the unkown type. I skipped them but now I have many questionmarks in my device list. Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

Do you have an AIW or a VIVO?

These "new hardware founds" are a result of smartgart doing whacky things to fix your pc for optimal compatibility. Happens to me sometimes.

No AIW or Vivo that I've installed myself. One reply suggests that it is a result of smartgart but gave me no resolution information. I have an ABIT KT7A-Raid board with a 1.333 mhz processor, 1 gig ram, ATI-All-in-wonder 7500 video card. All the latest Bios updates etc. The other thing I've noticed since this install is that I can't get any of the Mulitmedia components from ATI to work. I don't use them much but I like for things to work and work well. I do use the TV component but not that much. So, if anyone has any ideas about how to get rid of the yellow question marks under Other in my device manager, please let me know. Oh, I also install the Catalyst drivers and get the same issue.
