Cats 3.6 and OpenGl

Right, using a hercules rad9800 pro no o/c . .and Cats 3.6. I have noticed that in open Gl, there is a problem with the quality of textures/backgrounds in some apps . . A lot of scene demo's seem to be affected . . Its like the detail has been removed from the blending of shades . . Can anyone help me with this?? All D3D stuff works fine . .

TIA

Daddy B

All settings are at maximum quality for open gl. Got Rage3d running, all settings are max . . It used to happen before with the 3,4's but when slider was put to max it worked ok. With 3.6's, slider is already at max as default but there is a drop in quality it seems . . . MMMMmmmmmmmmmmm

Well, some games favor one API over another. That may be it.
