XP Drivers problem... ¿?¿?¿?
Well...
I have a problem, with my Hercules 3dProphet 9700.... when i play mohaa, Q3 after few minutes i get a crash from the game... with an error... sometimes a atiogl..dll error, sometimes mohaa.exe error... etc... I have made a lot of clean installs.... and nothing... i am desesperated because i have a lan party at monday and nothing works well...  My installation: 1. XP Install 2. after reboot.... SP1 install 3. M$ patches, etc... via Internet 4. Nforce 2.45 drivers install.... 5. DX9 6. ATI drivers install.... Omega 3.5, 3.6, original ATI drivers..... And ALWAYS i get this error....  My first install worked fine, very fine.... but i have made a format to put well the partitions... linux, etc... Any help please...!!!???!!! PD. Ahm... i can´t use AGP 8x, because XP freezes, i have to set AGP 4x at bios.... any solution to this problem.... My pc: Abit NF7-S v2.0 bios 1.8 Barton 2500 @ 3200 (at 2500 doesn´t work too) 2x256 OCZ 3500 EL Dual Channel WD1200jb 120gb ...... |

so you get all different sorts of errors? or the same error over and over? Is anything overclocked at all? I know MOHAA.exe errors were giving me trouble and I had to back off an OC I had. It was 100% stable in every proggy and app except MOHAA.... Ah I just see you do have an OC happening. Why won't your barton work @ 2500? I have the NF7-s 1.2 and r 9700 pro at 8x and no probs but if your mobo will not give you 8x and will not run your barton 2500 properly I'd say maybe you've got some mobo probs.... ??

Mohaa had worked with this config, the firts time that i have made a clean install (And with more overclocked machine).... but after this, only problems (sometimes gives me a atiglxx.dll error, sometimes mohaa.exe error, quake3.exe..... ) i think that it is some driver issue, because always the same... but with different "name"
And i can´t remember if i have made any different install or some tweak.... that have made the games, etc to work. I have used the XP at 2500 (original speed) and occurs the same... I will try nforce drivers 2.03... but it is strange, because one time worked all ...   THX for help. |
