Default Post Radeon 64 ddr vivo does not like win xp pro!

Right i have built a small system but I cannot get my radeon 64 ddr vivo to run correctly under windows xp pro. The system freezes, beeps and then reboots, sometimes instantly after boot up, sometimes minutes after. Occasionally my text also becomes garbled and unreadable. The drivers with xp run better but still crash eventually. Where can i get some solid drivers? I have updated by bios and apg drivers and dont know what else to do, as for the catalyst driver well lets just say there not helping.

HELP ME!

MY system

Jetway via 266b ddr/sd (something like that)
AMD 1800+
265 ddr PC 2100
award bios fully updates
Windows XP Pro

I have a VIA KT133 at work with an AIW 32DDR, with no problems what so ever.

Crash Override is an unknown quantity at this point

did you install the 4-in-1s? I used to recommend skipping these as they caused more probs than fixed but I have been impressed by Vias latest set

Try agp 2x instead of 4x (bios). Also check all the cooling, especially CPU.

Default Post allready done!

Ive allready installed the newest 4 in 1 drivers, and my pc has so many fans in it that cooling definitely is not the problem. I did notice that the ATI software was running the card on apg 2x even though my bios support 4x, but I dont know if this is anything to do with the problem. O was told the drivers conflicated with my chipset by the compny I bough the motherboard off, they said that they had recieved a few complaints and that I should swith to a geforce card.

And I was waiting for the new ATI one to be released

My via chipset is the Apollo KT266 A
My mother board is the JETWAY V266B, 266Mhz,2xDDR,2xSDRAM, ATA133

If I can't find a solution soon im gonna get a g-force 4...
