trueform is really not that useful, i recommend disabling it because it really gives a performance drop. only few games support it i forgot which (i think ravenshield does cause i used it saw a bit of a diff but loss in sped) wait for vsync should ALWAYS BE OFF, only enable if ur having massive fps problems in a certain game. the settings the d3d and open gl tabs for antiliasing and anisotropic filtering may differ for wut game u play and wut kinda comp. opengl is a faster renderer usually so putting it to 4x and 8x or even 16x anisotropic filtering wont hurt. d3d put it at 2x AA and 8x anisotropic filtering. i use 16x, fool around with it til u get a balance bewteen performance and quality. i use the rage 3d tweak seems fine... u can ask omegadrive yourself if the rage3d tweak is ok to use because when u install it i read using other tweakers can make his driver modifications useless. hope that helped... some settings maybe lower than wut i said since i use a r9700 pro

TruForm does have its advantages, but ATI is slowly dropping all support for it. If you use Cats 3.2s and before you can use it in Morrowind, which is does wonders for visually (but a major fps hit, 8500s do pretty good with it though). However, the 3.4s cause a BSOD for it (and for UT2003 and Renegade). Haven't tried with the 3.5s yet. RTCW has been working fine with TruForm; so has CS, even with the 9700. There are a lot of games that support TruForm, and if ATI would step up to the plate with it then it could really be big...even HL2 will support it from what I hear.

Anyway, that was OT. I keep TruForm for app preference. V-sync I make app preference too in D3D, off in OpenGL. I run everything with 16x AF and 4x AA.

yea buddman i run my radeon with the same settings cept vsync cause i want no limit on my fps!. trueform really hasnt really been implemented in enough games i think it could do wonders. it was originally made for the 8500, i didnt even know it continued till i got my radeon. i think warcraft III should use it because the game looks really well lots of details just some of models look cartoony and nintendo 64 like, compressed and round. true form would help that. cs supports trueform or tries to force it on all ati cards if u put it on app preference. well thats wut happened on my rage cause it doesnt support trueform. really lowered the fps , it can be fixed by typing ati_patch 0 in console. hope we were of help budz
