NEW rad_w2kxp_omega_2460.exe (ATI)

Can someone please help me..

I downloaded *NEW* rad_w2kxp_omega_2460.exe (ATI) for my laptop, which has the Radeon mobility 7500, coz when I tried to play counterstrike on the laptop, it freezes from time to time with the driver that the manufacturer had given... so i downloaded the above to see if it was better..

but this driver makes the game goes into a little screen adn I dunno how to fix it... can someone help me pls..

coz I tried to download the catalyst 3.2 from the ATI site, but it didnt find the inf file, so it couldnt install, but i just saw the modder if no one can help me, my last resort would be to try the original driver again and stuff.......

did you do a clean install or over the top?

Uninstall old drivers and use driver cleaner
That is what I did and It works great with my mobility 9000.

yeah, I did do a clean install.. I uninstalled the old ones and the screen went all yucky.. then I installed the one i downloaded from omega.. the one in the subject...

but I couldnt test it out, coz it makes the counter-strike game a little window in the middle of the screen and black all around it... so I cant really test it out... if you know what i mean... can someone suggest ways to fix it pls??
