??? Omega Driver Question

Hi, I need to know whats the real difference between ATI and Omega drivers...I remember getting higher scores with Omega drivers but not by much, Is this because the Omega drivers are lowering detail in any way? I really need to know if detail is even changed in any way because I want the most detail I can get...When I used the Omega 3.4's it seemed as if the textures were smaller, maybe its just me..

Just you

The IQ is way better with the Omega drivers. Thats what there tweaked for. Plus they run games way smoother than the ATI drivers. At least on my puter. Try them, you'll see. You can always go back to ATI drivers if you like. But you won't

Ok

Just wanted to know, I already know the Omega's perform WAY WAY better in like every game...ESPECIALLY RAVEN SHIELD, But I wanted to know if that performance gain was at the cost of image quality But since it isnt I will sure stick with the omega's

From what I have read and my own experience I don't think there is any image quality loss. But that is just me. What do your eyes tell you??? Don't have Ravin Sheild so I can't comment. Have you tried the new ones yet?

And it's in the control panel for Omega3.5. These are the best set of drivers I have installed since I bought my 9500pro. IQ is even better than with the 3.4's.

Actually Tony420911 you've got it backwards. Omega's are not built for speed gains, but for enhanced picture quality and stability. Some people don’t notice it, but I sure can. If your getting speed gains be happy, you're in the minority.

Ahh ok, I always did notice somthing different looking in a way...And I also have always got like a 200+ 3dmark boost on the OMEGA's. Wiether it was the ATI 3.4's vs Omega3.4's or the ATI3.5's vs Omega3.5's...
