i just found the omega drivers tonight and have been playing with them, I LOVE THEM! i have already overclocked my radeon 8500 to 281.25/281.25 and plan on downloading the bios to get up to 320/320...
but i do have one question, i usually have my RES set at 1280x1024, with the omega drivers the closest i can get is 1280x768, is there a way to fix this? please help ![]() thanks a lot |

Simple question... ever thought that going that high might blow your card? Just because you load the BIOS doesn't mean the card can take it.
Use the Radeon Clocking Utility that comes with the Omega Plutonium drivers before attempting to try it. At least if you do it that way, it's readily reversible. I hope if you fry your card due to your own stupidity, you won't try to RMA it. Others shouldn't have to pay for your mistakes.
