Have you tried using the newest DIVX player? It has Fullsteam support and while I will be the first to say that it isn't an end all, on heavily pixalated videos, it does seem to make a decent difference. I do hope that further support will be added to future media players and driver revisions as the potential for this technology is quite high if implemented correctly.

I was interested in this feature too, so WMP doesn't support fullstream yet? OK, I'll go download the divx player.

Fullstream is fully supported only with DIvX 5.03 / 5.04 / 5.05 encoded movies. Fullstream does not work correctly with DivX 3.11 / 4.0 / 5.0 / 5.01 /5.02 encoded movies even if DivX 5.03 / 5.04 or 5.05 is installed on your system. So you must have movies encoded with latest DivX version...

If was encoded with 5.0 / 5.01 or 5.02 is no difference. Fullstream was integrated in DivX from 5.03 version above.

i thought this video shader crap is supposed to work on webcasts (usually in asf files arent they) and lotta "VIDEOS" ahem... bangbus for example is in asf. i thought this would really help! only the dvd quality is a bit sharper than the other cards i have used in the past otherwise still dont work

it is made for use in applications that support it
for instance RealOne will support it
also
for divx files it is almost all divx files that gain from it I believe as its the player that hosts the code for enabling the post processing
try using an avi file in WMP9 and in DivX player

The ati stuff is ok, but you must use the divx player.
FFDSHOW kills ati post processing and plays xvid and divx. Chews cpu cycles though depending on the level of post processing you use.
Not for the feint of heart. You can even use it to apply avisynth scripts in real time.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow
ffdshow-20030103.exe is my favourite build - less features but has very nice version of Nics post processing de blocks very well
no need to have xvid or divx codecs installed with FFDSHOW
go here and learn
http://forum.doom9.org/
FFDSHOW development thread
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=48511
Media Player Classic - the best media player bar none - extremely configurable - works beautifully in conjunction with FFDSHOW
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=82303
hope this has been usefull
