Newb question about driver hack.

When I installed the Omega 3.4's it asked if i wanted the regular drivers or the ones hacked to make the 9500 a 9700 and the ones to make a 9700 a 9800. What does that do? Since I am a newb I thought I would ask you guys.

Oh and also has anyone else seen huge performance decreases since they installed the 3.5? My 3Dmark 03 score went from 4800 to 4100. Also some games have been going insanly slow. I have even reverted with driver cleaner and all of that. Installed the 3.4's no help. So I figured I would install the Omega 3.4's. It raised it to 4300 but still not back where the others where. Thanks

The 'hacked' thing enables things that the 9500 doesnt have that the 9700 DOES have, so you get certain features that the 9700 has, same with 9700-9800. It basically just enhances performance/quality.
