Catalyst 9.3 ATI Radeon HD 2900 PRO driver update problem

The issue :
I have recently downloaded and installed Catalyst Software Suit Revision9.3 ,release date 3/18/2009.
Description:
Package Includes:
Display Driver : (Revision Number 9.3, date 3/18/2009 )
Catalyst Control Center
WDM Drivers

After installation: hardware- device manager- display adapters- ATI Radeon HD 2900 PRO Properties . Driver date 2/25/2009 , Driver version 8.591.0.0. I've tried to uninstall driver completely and reinstall it again but nothing happened. The driver version is still 8.591.0.0. and Driver date still 2/25/2009
Is it the way it should be or there is something needs to be done in order to keep drivers up to date?
Please advise, thank you.
