Re : Game freezes
I would say "overclocking"
If you don't, then check you temp sensors mostly CPU and GPU of course.
If you do, lower your settings and try again.
Hope that'd help you !

Re: Game freezes
39°C I don't think that the overheating is the reason...
OH ! i forgot !
After the game is freezing, i wait about 10 seconds and appears a BLUE Screen !
The device driver got stuck in a infinate loop. This usually indicates problems with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly.
Please check with your hardware device vendor for any driver updates.

Best thing I can recommend is removing the variables, Temporarily (remember your settings) stop overclocking and run the games.
If they crash try to resolve/identify the issue through changing drivers/stability tests. I would try FurMark for the GPU and Folding at home for the CPU. They both seem to be very stressful on those particular parts you could also use memtest86 for your memory although I doubt that is an issue, but it is always best to test everything.
If this resolves the issue slowly ramp up your overclock until it is unstable again and then go back to your previously stable overclock.
Good luck

Re : Re: Game freezes
2 more advices :
- Test your ram with Memtest so you can check if you got some errors with your settings/voltage or not.
- Check your real GPU temp AFTER you played a bit with all options ON in a very greedy game (crysis, stalker, fear anything new and needing a good system to run smoothly).
For exemple, i got freezes with my 8800GT OC with the native cooler. I didn't have anymore with a zalman on cause i've lost at least 30°C in load.
I also agree with Caqde, if you run your system at stock speed and you don't encounter the same freezes, you have a clue

Re : Re: Game freezes
Looking like a GPU failure to me
Maybe you should try to update your ATI drivers (in case they're not up to date) and think about changing your GPU cooler, i wish it could solve your problem but hardware mysteries are sometimes unexplainable

Re: Game freezes
If you have version of graphics drivers 8.10 at least, (because that is what I use) and the Catalyst Control Center installed, then go there and under ATI Overdrive click on Enable ATI Overdrive and enable manual fan control, then ONLY change the percentage point under the fan speed, to 95%. Click Apply and then OK, you should be able to hear the fan speeding up. Start your games and try it out.

This is not possible with all cards. I can't adjust the fan speed on my HD3870X2.

The fan speed control option in CCC is only available for the 4xxx series cards. I don't have it for my 3870, either.
So, to use manual fan speed, I use Ray Adam's ATT. There are others that can be used, too.

Re: Game freezes
There's also Experttool from Gainward but the downside with that is that the lowest speed you can manually set is 50%

You're not the only one who thinks so. I, too, thought it was being made for ATI cards across the board when it first was announced.

Re: Game freezes
In ATI Tray Tools in "Hardware>Overclocking>Fan" says that "No supported hardware found"
I used Expert Ati tool and didn't like it
And I see that my profile status is "DriverHeaven Junior Member". It changed from "DriverHeaven Newbie". Thanks !

Sounds like you might be using an older version of ATT. Some previous versions gave me the same message.
Go here and grab the latest BETA version. I'm using it and it's got the support for the fan control.

Re: Game freezes
I play Counter Strike 1.6. GPU-Z shows 20-36% of GPU Load. Is this normal ?

I don't know if that's normal, but why shouldn't it be? After all, this is showing the load on the GPU...not the CPU. Wouldn't you be expecting some decent load on the GPU is you're playing a 3D game?
EDIT/UPDATE: While I haven't activated CS 1.6, I do have CS:Source installed and active. So, I ran the Video Stress Test for it. If you have "Wait for V-Sync" Enabled, this may likely be why the load on the GPU is so low. [Yes, LOW!] Disable that function and make sure you Apply the change. Then try again. With V-Sync Disabled, I was seeing 85-99% Load on the GPU. With it Enabled, the load range was about what you posted. I also saw color distortion with V-Sync Enabled.
