right click on desktop/settings/

click on monitor 2, then "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor". you can move the graphical representation of the monitors up and down to allow for the alignment in your room and alter individual resolutions.

Sad Thanks everyone for the reply..

Sorry I was not clear, but how do I physically connect the second monitor to my ATI 8500DV. There seems to be only one connector/converter for only one video connection or I am missing some sort or Y-cable?? Thanks for the reply.

Sad Since You and I have the Same Videocard

I am sorry to inform you that there is no way to connect a second actual monitor to your setup as far as I can tell. I have worked with this card will be two years this november. The only connects possible are a tv and that is about it. The cards without the tv have dual outputs.

later
