How to do I get TV out to work the way I want?
I have a HD3850 512MB graphics card and I am using the latest (8.7) ATI drivers on Windows XP Pro SP2 32 bit. I am trying to use TV out to display media files on a portable TV, the AV output Composite jack. I have managed to do that okay but while watching my TV I don't want my PC monitor on, I would prefer it to go into standby. But if the monitor goes into standby my TV screen goes black, which is not what I want. I don't really want to have to turn off my PC monitor incase I need to use it.
So is there a way to put my PC monitor into standby while retaining my TV display? Last edited by RedDwarf; Aug 16, 2008 at 06:43 PM. |
