are you using dual monitors or single?

answers in my opinion:
1. go to monitor tab and set your desired refresh rate there for your desktop.
2. is that the screen res you want?
3. DPI setting leave at default
4. I prefer a set rate of 85hz all the time but yeah, same as desktop should be fine
5. no need to
6. good and good
7. leave alone its useless anyhow
8. try moving top slider to far right then setting AA to 4x and AF to 16x. slide vsync slider to far left or OFF
9. same as openGL

Now you don't wanna bench 3dmark with those settings (well if you want highest score possible) but MOHAA should looking stunning

and blower... WELCOME to DriverHeaven!

Ok you say set my screen refresh rate same as desktop but it wont?
Theres a box that says hide settings that your monitor cant display, mine has a cross in it and if i go down the settings it will only go up to 85 hertz. And it says nowt about setting it same as desktop?
But i can click on display tab and then monitor and that is set to desktop.
Now then i dont know if that should be the right screen resolution he he?just what i set it to.
help appreciated and i will disable write combining if it makes a difference.

Refresh rate should be set to at least 85Hz.
DirectX override should be set to same as desktop, if that doesn't work, just set it to 85Hz also.

Not sure what write combining is, but disabling it should increase performance.

Increasing the graphics quality will always affect the speed of the card. However, you have a good card, so I wouldn't worry about that too much, just don't set the quality too high. Try each setting out to see for yourself how it affects the cards performance.

No need to appologize for asking questions...if you don't ask, how will you know?

you should not have to disable write combing with a 9500 GPU. In your medal of honor just enable the console and press ~ button to bring it down. Then type "fps 1" without quotes to display for fps rate. I would say you will be fine with all of the above settings that I suggested... Did you get the refresh overide sorted becase playing at 60hz will NOT work

Did that happen after you changed the refresh rate or disabled write combining? Also what monitor are you using?

Okay. It has to do with the refresh rate. I remeber having this problem when trying to run at 100Hz, lowering the refresh rate is the only way I know to get rid of the lines.

Thought that might happen, did to me. I tryed to go from 85Hz to 100, then I got those lines, I tryed to lower my refresh rate to 90Hz and they went away only to come back later, so I'm back at 85Hz.

You can try lowering the refresh rate again down to 60Hz.

Yeah, it's a real pain. If you can live with 'em then turn your refresh rate back up to 85Hz.
