slimming down catalyst drivers?

i extracted the actual driver files from the latest catalyst package, but i'm wondering if it'd be possible to slim it down further. here are the files:

amdpcom32.dll
ati2cqag.dll
ati2dvag.dll
ati2edxx.dll
ati2erec.dll
ati2evxx.dll
ati2evxx.exe
ati2mdxx.exe
ati2mtag.sys
ati3duag.dll
atiadlxx.dll
atiddc.dll
atidemgx.dll
atifglpf.xml
atiicdxx.dat
atiiiexx.dll
atikvmag.dll
atiodcli.exe
atiode.exe
atiogl.xml
atioglgl.xml
atioglx2.dll
atioglxx.dll
atiok3x2.dll
atipdlxx.dll
atitvo32.dll
ativcoxx.dll
ativva5x.dat
ativva6x.dat
ativvaxx.dat
ativvaxx.dll
oemdspif.dll

are all of these required? could any of them be deleted (and removed from the inf as well, of course)?

thanks!

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

All those .dll files are required if you remove some of them you might get BSOD's and inactivity of some features of the card.

No you can't, all those drivers are for functionality of one or another part of the card ( i think correct me if i'm wrong ), so as Teme said you'll have an unstable system with BSODs and a chance of knackering your card probably especially if you remove the fan speed driver or something.
My question is why would you want to? :/
The drivers are only a few kb each at the most

well, it started off with me building a light version of some realtek hd audio drivers (i tried to remove all of the unnecessary applications, non-driver files, etc.), so i was wondering if i could do the same here. but it's not a big deal.
