Best mobo for Radeon 9700pro?

Wondering what the best mobo to for my new system?just got a radeon 9700 pro...kinda looking in the price range of 70-150$

Still have to buy the rest, but wondering what is the best quality board...also for possible overclocking but unsure if i could since my cpu is in a desk so maybe runs kinda hot.

Athlon or P4?
Do you already have the CPU and you want to upgrade your mobo or are you buying completely new stuff?

Without knowing all that it's hard to suggest a good mobo

Hi Ashtareth,

in my opinion the is the Abit NF7 Rev.2.0 the best, it is cheap and it is very good for
overclocking.
Another good one should be the EPOX 8rda3+, but I don't tested it.
They both support FSB200 and it should be possible to get the FSB up to 220 ! (or maybe more )

Just don't be cheap on a motherboard.
It's possiby the most important component in a pc.
A quality motherboard (with a quality chipset) avoids many little problems/bugs.
You might want to get also a decent tower case (if your budget allows for it) and have it properly ventilated.

The Nforce2 boards from any major brand are fine. Since the chipset is still pretty new there are still some bugs here and there but nothing to worry too much. I'd go for ASUS A7N8X if I had to pick one.
