Omega 3.2`s vs. ATI 3.4`s Opinion`s!

O.K. lets here some honest opinions! I D/L the 3.4`s and ran the the benchmarks and saw no improvement in the 01 to speak of, but did see a 175 point jump in the 03. Played a few games with all the same previous settings and saw no great visual enhancements nor fps increases. I hope Omega is presently working on these 3.4`s as I had no problems with the Omega 3.2`s whatsoever. The folks that were previously running the ATI Cat 3.2`s, may have seen a performance and visual boost, and I hope they did! http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=757866

I hope they're working on the Omega 3.4's as well. They usually work much better for me.

Im only assuming that Omega is going to release his version of the 3.4`s. But hopefully he will, and they will be posted in this forum.

I heard from Omega that he is going to try and get his version of the 3.4's out today..."hopefully".
Should be soon, if not today.

Looking around here, and over at Rage3D, I'm presently glad I didn't un-install the Omega 2407a's, as
they have been like rocket fuel and rock stable for the last 6 weeks.

I gained 300 points in 3D Mark 03. But, I played a couple of games at the same settings as with the 3.2s and the games stuttered (paused) very bad. I used to play all games at max settings on the card and the game. I backed down a whole lot and still didn't work well. I'm back to the 3.2s. 300 points on the test don't mean that much.
