vice city problems under 8500LE
well the intro movie plays just fine, i hop in the car and it drives fine for 2 seconds then starts skipping frames like crazy, its almost like stop motion, the audio skips badly as well, every 2 minutes or so it goes turbo speed for a few seconds then goes back to skipping again

Don't give up. I have an 8500LE 128mb by Hercules and I played GTA3 through all the way, after the patch and all the other tweaks. I am sure Vice City will fllow the same trend, there will be all types of workarounds to make it playable. VC runs alright for me, I have had to lower the resolution to 800x600 and still it slows way down whenever there is a lot of action. I had plenty of time to plan my moves while stealing the tank. It sucks, but I think 8500LE users should no have to worry....
