tranquility SS probelm

seems that when i run my card overclocked at 380/350 i get some artifacting in the SS. this is strange because i DONT get it in any games or in 3dmark. what gives? when i put the settings back to stock it runs just fine tho.

you would be best posting this in this thread to keep all comments together also the author reads there.

ill have to say though, that is some overclock you are getting from the 9700, is that with stock cooling??

im a little surprised you only see artifacting with the saver and nothing else, its really only opengl.

i kno a lot of individuals running around 390/360 with their cards. i am using stock cooling on the video except for the shim being removed. my case is set up so a fan that is mounted in the side case window blows air directly across the video card's HS and memory. i never get artifacting in anything at all. i play hours of counter-strike which is openGL and i never have any artifacting. only in that SS does it appear. thanks for the reply

Its running fine on my system, but I noticed the tranquility running a tad faster after installing dx 90a redistributable version, even if I was running the webinstalled dx90a from before. Maybe itll do somthing for you to install the redistributable.
