Sad Wierd Colours

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

I switched on my PC this evening and all appears ok until 3d kicks in. All my games, screensavers etc have wierd colours all along the bottom and right hand side of the screen. The games play ok (apart from splinter cell when using the heat goggles). I didn't do anything since last night (gaming) which I think would have affected it.

My Specs
P4 2.4Ghz
Gigabyte GA-8INXP
512Mb Corsair DCDDR 400
Sapphire Radeon 9700 Pro
SB Audigy 2
Antec 480 TrueBlue PSU

Are you over-clocking anything? If so, try setting them back to default speeds

Nope and Nope. I'm scared of overclocking cos I can't afford replacement cards etc.

The colours I'm getting only happen in one screen saver (ATI bacteria) and one game (splinter cell).

When playing Sim City 4, I get small black lines across the screen.

I think the video card has died.
