Radeon Omega Drivers based on Catalyst 8.xx in the near future?

simple question

will there be any or should i update to current catalyst drivers?

This I also want to know, as the last Omegas (based on the Catalyst 7.12s) gave me a lot of Blue-screens on my AMD Radeon 3870. Currently on the Catalyst 8.3s, but miss some of the Omega features...
