Radeon 9600 Mobile - Driver

Hi there,
got a little problem:

the latest driver for my radeon mobile 9600 is very old. i guess its about middle 2006. with this driver i got about 130 fps in 3d poker, but in "experience 112" I've about 1 to 2 fps

using the latest omega drivers, i got the following problem:
starting 3d poker gives me an error, that it couldn't use direct3d and is using instead opengl. it also tells me that my driver is responsible for this and i've to install a new one.
in "experience 112" i got about 30fps!!! thats cool, but i don't know if direct 3d is used or opengl.

seems that the omegadrivers are not working properly for my card or are misconfigurated.

is there a solution for this problem? does the omega driver support the radeon 9600 mobile? (on the page there i can see that it does support the 9600, but mobile cards are supportet since the m6!? --> I dont know if mine is newer or older :-( )

what if you try one of the older omegas before 7.9

so i tried out the omega based on cat 7.4 and that works almost ok.
but still i can tell. poker works great but e.g. "so blonde" intro has only 15fps instead of 26fps (with 7.12)!!!!

where is the problem with 7.12 ? Is there no more support for my device?

edit: now i tested 7.10. that runs also! but still only 26 frames in "so blonde"
7.12 is better! but doesn't run with poker, hrmpf!
