Viewing Pc on the Tv

Hi. I have a minor problem watching movies ect from my computer on my tv. I did install an old omega driver 3.8.205 and i had no problem doing this. Now ive updated the drivers to 4.8.442 and im getting some problems which probably is easy to fix, but not for me
I use the tray tool and create 2 hotkeys. 1 for switching to my pc and the other for switching to my tv. The hotkey for the pc is set as pc monitor primary, tv switched off. no clone. The hotkey for tv is set as tv primary, pc switched of. Now, with the old drivers, there where no problems, and i get a nice picture on my tv. With the newest drivers the player from the pc (vlc) is black. I have tried and tried and im certain there's an easy sollution for this. Please help me!

specs:
windows xp
ati radeon 9800 pro 128mb
(not sure if there is anything else i should mention) ?

ps, i hope this is the correct thread to post

oj

I had similar issues with bsplayer .. Try extending your desktop to your tv and not setting your tv as the primary display. Failing that try using KMPlayer its free has all the codecs so you dont need to install any and it should work.

Dont know why but Cat 7.11 is the last driver that worked with BSPlayer .. maybe the issue with VLC is related. Anyway iv been using KMPlayer ever since and everything works great .. had no problems with it so far
