Cannot Install New Drivers

Hi everyone,

I have been trying to install the new catylist drivers, but having no luck no matter what I try.

When installing I get the message "Setup does not find a driver copmatible with your hardware or operating system. Setup will now exit."

I have a geteway desktop with an intel motherboard and Ati radeon x600 pro 128 graphics card.

After uninstalling previous drivers, as instructions say, the new ones do not install and I have to reformat my hard drive and reinstall windows to get the old drivers back.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
Chris

Hi there and welcome to DriverHeaven!

First if your card is AGP card new drivers since CAT 7.6 has some major issues with AGP so your best bet would be using older set of drivers.

Thanks temeteus,

I just tried a set of the 7.2 ati drivers, and installation said "Try setting up a vga drivers before instillation."

I just tried again, and the instillation failed again. Is there a way to manually install new drivers?

Thanks
Chris

Ven 99,

I was having the exact same problem, could not install the ATI drivers for my new AGP SaSaphire HD2600 Pro. My fix was to install the Omega drivers. Worked without a hitch. Hopefully it will work for you.
