Optimizing Omega drivers for doom 3?

I would like to know how to gain maximum performance in Doom 3 using omega drivers. I have ATI Radeon Xpress 200 IGP(256mb),but i can run at low/med/high settings at about 20fps max. When I change all OpenGL settings to high performance, the graphics quality becomes terrible, but still fps remains the same!!! Whats more strange is that with ingame settings set to low/medium/high,i can see the improvement/loss in quality of graphics, but still fps remains the same. FPS should decrease or increase according to graphics qualty, but it remains same. I know that IGP is not meant for gaming, but i really want to play it at 800x600,25-30 fps.

Thanks for the reply, but i tried all combinations of autoexec files, they reduced the quality but fps remained the same. I even tried the ATI tweak by editing some .vfg file, but it didnt help.

My specs are:

Intel Pentium 4 3.06 ghz HT
704 mb ddr 400mhz RAM
ATI Radeon Xpress 200(256mb)
Omega drivers v3.8.413(Based on catalyst 7.9)

You need to keep in mind that Omegadrivers are already tweaked for games. You usually do more harm than good messing around with them.

Also keep in mind that you're not gonna get a very good gaming experience in D3 with that kind of graphics hardware... sorry to say
