Problems Installing ATI Radeon 9550 Drivers

Hello. I am trying to install drivers for my video card (ATI Radeon 9550), But I am running into some problems. I completely uninstalled my previous drivers. First I tried installing the latest Omega drivers. Everything seems fine and then it says "Driver Installation complete." The problem I noticed here is that it didn't install the drivers, it just asked me if I want shortcuts and the says its finished. then asks me to restart. So I restart. After my PC reboots It says it detects hardware problems. The drivers didn't work. So I removed everything and tried the official ATI drivers. after it extracts Install wizard pops up and then goes away and nothing happens. After that I removed everything but left the ATI folder. then I went to device manager and tried to install the drives from the ATI folder. It seemed like everything was going well until it finished I got an error saying "An error occurred during the installation of this device. The parameter is Incorrect." (Picture of error at bottom). Then I tried manually Installing with omegas files, same error.

Anyways, If you can help me out that wold be awesome.

Greetings and welcome to DriverHeaven!

First of all, I assume you have Administrator Rights on the PC you're having problems with. So, please confirm that.

Secondly, have you tried doing the manual installation from within Safemode? Try that and report the results.

Also, please read the "Having Problems? Need Some Help?..." announcement at the top or bottom of the page. It would help to have more information about the system you're using.
