Radeon 9550 TV Out Problem

Hi All,

Have a small problem to which I hope anyone can help with.....

Have been using the standard ATI drivers (V6.11) for quite a while, so thought I would update them to the latest of (V7.3). Thats where the problems start......

Have also tried the Omega drivers, and the problem still arises.

On to the problem....

Have a monitor connected to the primary on the card, which I run in a resolution of 1280x1024. Have a TV connected to the secondary to which I use for watching films in full screen while using the monitor as I usually do.

All is fine while using V6.11 drivers, but upon installing the latest drivers (V7.11), I can no longer do this...

What happens with the new drivers installed, is that when full screen is run on the TV it drops the resolution on the monitor down to 1024x768 resolution, which I am assuming is what the TV is, and fails to put it back 1280x1024 after the TV has been finished with.

With the older drivers (6.11) it all works fine, monitor resolution stays on 1280x1024 and the tv automatically comes on fullscreen at the resolution of 1024x768 (i am assuming this is the resolution for the tv)

Any ideas guys? Have emailed ATI about this, not sure if I'll get a reply.

Best Regards,
Jay
