well, i'm not sure if this works, but you should be able to disable it by doing the following:...... click start-->run-->"services.msc"...... then, rightclick "ati smart" and go to properties. choose "disable" in the dropdown menu. i guarantee nothing because i haven't tried it or experimented with it. (so don't blame me if it screws anything up)

I think you can remove them from your .inf files and then install the set, dont have the set here at work but i think that it will be enough.

My suggestion:

Run the first part of the Omega install (select custom refresh rate, select other software to install, etc). After it's done unzipping the setup files, it well say thanks for using Omega, and will ask you if you want to start the actual driver install. Tell it no and close the install. Then fire up Device Manager, select your video card, and click 'Update Drivers'. Do the usual bit here, and the drivers will be installed without SmartGart.

I installed them without smartgart by setting the smartgart to 00000 instead of 100000 in the inf file . But I didn't have any hardware acceleration after that so I just installed it on the regular way ...

maybe your suggestion is a goodf one dijidiji
