Problems with monitor after installing omega's driver for ati radeon 7500

Hi I got an ati radeon 7500 so I thought I’d give one of omegas tweaked drivers a try but once I got everything installed my monitor started acting all weird. It would turn off and then back on by itself and the resolution is messed at times, like stretched, I already tried reinstalling windows and I even formatted my hard drive but this problem won’t go away. I think its because my monitor only supports a refresh rate of 60hz and I had one of little apps that would make it refresh at 100hz. To make sure that it wasn’t my monitor that was busted I installed the same monitor on my mom’s computer and everything seems to be working fine on hers. Any ideas of what I could do to fix this problem?

sounds like your monitor is out of sync. I take it when you installed omegas sets you used a pretty high refresh fix. that seems to be the problem, so short of having games in 60hz which aint too good for your eyes, its time for a monitor upgrade.
