Working Radeon Catalyst on IGP 320m Notebooks

Hi,

it is possible to install current catalyst radeon drivers (Omega, Patje) on radeon igp 320m notebooks by adding the appropriate vendor id's as discussed several times. But are they working? You will always need an appropriate AGP chipset driver (so called GART, ATI U1 AGP, etc.). Anybody out there who was able to prove that the the drivers are working (e.g. pass all dxdiag.exe direct 3d tests) and if so, which hardware are you using (Compaq, HP, Packard Bell, Fujitsu Amilo) and which AGP driver is installed on your system? You can look that up using device manager -> system looking for an entry called "ATI accelerated graphics port" or "PCI-to-PCI Bridge".

thanks for any reports.

I just stumbled upon this page where you can download the Neutral Catalyst ATIPOWER pack v2.0.3.3

I never tried those drivers but the creator claims they work for IGP320/340 too.
Might be worth a try.
