annoying: screen expands/contracts few pixeles when showing/hiding desktop

Hi!
First: please, forgive me if I'm asking in the wrong section and please, point me where to ask. Thanks!

I have an Sapphire Ati Radeon X700 128M
I have made a clean install of my system. I have installed TinyXP Rev.05 and latest Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.291 (Cat 6.9).

Everything went smooth.

But, here the problem, I'm noticing that screen moves (expands or contracts!) when I show/hide the desktop or when I restore some windows...
Also, when this happens, for a micro-second, I can see that icons or text looks a bit out of focus.

I haven't tested deep yet, so I can't confirm if this is a problem of videocard/drivers.
Please, can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?
