Default Post Hydravision Problems - Please Help!

I have recently installed Windows 2000 with the Omega/Plutonium drivers that were recently released (the a set). I have also installed Hydravision. Both of my monitors are recognized, however, I cannot get it so that I can extend my display to the second monitor. When I say recognized, I mean that they are recognized in the advanced section of the display settings, however, only one monitor shows up on the settings tab.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Default Post Hydravision seems to work differently in 2k than in XP

There seems to be no option to "Extend display to another screen." Is this truly the case? Is it possible to get Hydravision to behave in 2k like it did in XP? And if so, how?

Thanks again for any help.

I would really like to know if anyone has answer to this...
I purchased a Toshiba laptop 1805-277 with mobility Radeon.. One of the features was multiple display.. I am using win2000 and am only able to mirror... winme works... but I need win2000.. I've installed many different drivers including latest omega.. I've spent hours trying to figure this out tonight.. any info or ideas would be great..

thanks..

Well I've done some research... And dual monitor support (extended desktop) is not supported under WIN2000.. Good thing this is one of the features that convinced me to buy this laptop.... I trying to get ahold of ATI is EVER going to make it work as they advertise, because no where is there any mention of this... but unfortuately ATI support SUCKS...
ATI's driver support SUCKS, so I will bet they never will support this.. And I for one will NEVER buy ATI again..
Sadly enough I said this last time I bought the first series ATI Rage Pro card, and waited something like a year for OPENGL drivers, which they had advertised support of when I bought the card...
Now I let myself get jerked again..

Huh?

Well... honestly i don't know... but...hmmm

Do two monitors or monitor icons show up in the Display Properties >> Settings tab?

Probably not... oh well... GET XP it is superior to 2k in every aspect!!!!!

(no seriously... that is my opinion... but don't take it to harm, k? )

Unfortuately no XP software support for what I'm running...
Luckily it's not gonna kill me.. just piss me off real bad... I always want what I don't have... hehe.. especially when I thought I alread had it... argh!!! but then again, I bought ATI again... my bad...
I prolly shouldn't be bashing ATI on and ATI board, but in my experience ATI support has sucked.. and I still haven't been able to contact them.. No phone number easily findable on the web site, and there support email form is apparently some sort of joke, because it's been 2 days now and I haven't even received the auto-response they promise to send me within 24 hours...

The only time I've called ATi was way back when I bought my Rage128. The guy answered the phone and then my question. No problem. I haven't had to talk to them since so I don't know what they're like these days but I know their drivers are MUCH better than they used to be so I'd hope their customer support would be as well.
