Strange thing with x64 install, need advice.

I have just done a fresh install of the new 6.9 drivers for X64, now in the past I have installed loads of new driver sets without event. But this time was different.
As usual windows warned me of new hardware and as usual I canceled but when the driver set was actually installing the same window came up half way though install, telling me new hardware found, this has never happened before. Anyway it has left a 'unknown' in my device manager that I can't get rid off what ever I might try. At the moment eveything seems to be working okay but this unknown is worrying me.

My card X1900XT
Driver set 6.9 x64
OS Win X64

Little bit more information required, such as motherboard and other devices...

What could have been triggered is the detection of a never before detected device as occasionally, under strange circumstances, can somehow "whoops missed that pnp device"
