How to enable fast-writes with Omega drivers?
How do I go about doing this?
Currently, GTR (race sim for the uninformed ;p) won't load for me, and I've been doing some searching on solving the problem, one suggestion is turning fast-writes on but its blanked out in the smartgart options. So I did as someone suggested and removed the "disableagpfw" registry key, rebooted, and its although its not blanked out in options anymore, its still off, setting it to "on" doesnt work as its still off when you reboot again... Any help is appreciated

Check the setting in BIOS.
Then if you are using Omega's I take it you have ATi Tray Tools installed as well? If so... right click the icon in the system tray choose 'Hardware' choose 'SMARTGART...' and try setting it in there. |

Does it seem to freeze at the same place/s? Or randomly? What are your system specs? We'll go from there.
