Direct3D functionality not available... HELP!

Hello everyone!

I really need your help :S

I have a 9800XT for a while now, has always worked fine, but was heating up alot (no OC).
So I decided to get a waterblock and add it to my wc system.

Removed the stock cooler, separated the top ram heatsinks from stock cooler and reatached them with some Artic Ceramic. Same procedure for waterblock.
Connected everythig back in place.

Booted my machine, and now windows drag, and no games...
My lineage2 gave me this message: "Video: No Video
Please enable Direct3D acceleration. You can do this by starting dxdiag and enabling Direct3D Acceleration in the Display1/2 tab after installing DirectX 8.1b (or later) and the latest drivers for your graphics card."

So I went to DxDiagnose: "Direct3D funcionality not available"

DirectX Features shows DirectDraw, Direct3d Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration as Not Available

Installed latest drivers and directX... problem persists

What could be the problem? And how can it be fixed?
Any ideas?

System Specs

Hey OvrKll, welcome to the forums!

Did you try to install the newest chipset drivers of your motherboard? If not, you should try! It's often the main source for problems with systems not recognizing the correct AGP bus-speed - it helped me, too, back then.

Good luck!

Forgot to mention, the temp on the card was 80C... with watercooling is 60c... are these normal temps? Could the card be "fried"?

After several atempts, one install actually activated the directx 3D stuff... but after trying it out on a game had a lock-up.
Rebooted comp, and DxDiag has all 3D dissabled...

HELP!!!!
