Extended desktop issues

Been tinkering with this for a few hours with no success.

I have an AIW 9600 with the latest Omega drivers and WDM drivers installed. I'd like to activate extended desktop and/or clone display but when I click the enable/disable button it deactivates the other display. I can choose to have it use the monitor or the TV as a primary display but I cannot have both enabled for clone or extended display. Also, the button is red and from pictures I've seen on the forum it is supposed to be green. Any help would be appreciated.

Greetings, gaugaumrthou! And welcome to Driverheaven.

This problem has been brought up by others. Note specifically, this thread:

Clone Screen Problem

You will need to tell us whether you have the ATI Control Panel, ATT, and/or ATI Catalyst Control Center installed.

The red button you mention, you should be able to click directly on the red button to turn it to green. Then you'll have to choose to save the settings. If you've been through that already, please let us know.

Hopefully, we can help you.
