Bit of a shot in the dark, as I'm not sure if this is necessary for displaying through the TV, but have you's made sure both display adapters are enabled in device manager?

Start/run/devmgmt.msc

Under Display adapters, that's all you will see. The only other area you will see things related to the video card will be those items installed with the WDM under Sound, video, and game controllers farther down the list.

Those having problems getting the TV OUT to work, I need to ask this:

Do you already have TWO monitors connected to your system? Do both show up as ENABLED when you go to the Settings where you can see the two monitor icons above where you set your Desktop Resolution?

TV OUT can only be active when only ONE monitor is Enabled. You cannot have both monitors active plus TV OUT as the video card can only do two displays at a time.

Check the properties for both radeon x800/x850 series and radeon x800/x850 series secondary under display adapters to see if they are enabled or if they report an error.

There's always the chance the card might be malfunctioning. Has this ever worked?

Unique prob with clone mode and omega

Try this:

Right click desktop, go to properties.
Click the settings tab.
Click the monitor with the number 2 on it.
click the checkbox that says "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor".
click apply.

Tell us what happens.

This is the only way I can get my monitor and TV to work properly at the same time on my x800 Pro with Omegadrivers.
Otherwise when I put my display in Clone mode, it makes the computer think that my CRT monitor is a TV and limits the resolution up to 1024X768 @60Hz.

Using the default drivers with CCC clone mode works fine. I think it's just an ATT thing.

Don't know about that. I've been able to clone with both Omega/ATT and CCC, no problem at all.

Though, I don't know if it's possible to clone more than 1024x768. If you have a higher res on the monitor, the tv res will be lower. I have the desktop at 1152x864 and can't get the tv higher than 800x600. If I set the desktop to 1024x768 I can have the same on the TV. I guess it's limited by the maximum res the card can do which is, in my case, 2048x1536.

I have no problem setting my Desktop to 1280x1024 and still get TV Out working. The problem is that the TV OUT is limited to 1024x768 and becomes a 'virtual' screen....meaning that, as I move my mouse from edge to edge of my Desktop, the screen on the TV moves about.

Hi,

i also heve a problem with TV-Out.
P4 520, C3D GTO, Enermax 565P, MSI 915G, 2x512 Corsair Value PC4200, etc.

The power botton is gray here and i cant extend my desktop. When i tick it, it untick as soon as i press apply.

I was using Omega 6.5 but i turn it back to 6.3 after this and the problem is still here.

Everything is just fine with the cablles...i can figure out what a hell is this.

Any sugentions wil be appreciated!

Sorry about the double post but i cant paste with Firefox...

XP install the WDM after the Omega's instalation!!!

Edited from here:

Found a parcial solution. Iv instaled the oficial Catalys 6.5 and it dont work.
After that, i checked my cables again and change the out cable.
My cable have 4 signal outs, 2 rca yellows and 2 S-video. With the anothe S-Video out it works but i was using the other one before...

Soon i'll try this with Omega's 6.5...

Edite again from here:
The latest Omega has a bug. When i tick to estend the desktop(after tick Fonrce TV and enable the TV-Out) ... pressing the apply, it untick the extend and disable the TV-Out.

It work with Catalyst and dont work with Omega, simple like that.

Well, i'm back to Catalyst.
Good luck.

Is this a question or comment? I'm not sure.

However, just in case, you WILL need to install the WDM device drivers after installing the Omegadrivers. The WDM download is located on Omega's site where the other drivers are.

DHZerOPoint 6.4 works.
I think the problem is on Omega's CC.

Just to add some info. Iv made a huge driver's updates on my PC.
Omega's 6.3 was working with no problem issue but right now it wont work anymore(i tried).
Why? I dont know but the only new thing related with this driver is .NetFrame 2.0.
I have installed 1.1, 1.1 hotfix, 1.1 language pack(brazilian) and NOW 2.0.
Iv instaled 2.0 and Omega's 6.5 in the very same day.

I think the problem came from that.

Might be helpful but certain TV's need to be "tuned" to the AV or the S-video inputs. I had a similar issue until I figured I had to change the channel until S-VID was displayed. AS for playing games on a TV DX games default to the PRIMARY monitor. I am not sure if that applies with Clone mode. IF you can get the BIOS to come up on the TV when it boots up that's great you know it CAN work if you get the settings right.

1024x768 resolution in clone screen

Hi

I got this little problem that I would like to get rid off. Before I upgrade to 6.5 drivers, my tv-out worked in clone mode great. Now it isnt working almost at all. Why almost?

Previous drivers I used on my monitor 1600x1200 resolution and my TV was in clone mode, which is in 1024x768 mode of course, because it is max resolution for tv-out in X800 XL. Now with new drivers when I set tv on clone mode, it changes monitor resolution also in 1024x768.

So I would like know if it is possible get working with these drivers like it worked older drivers. I would like to use these drivers if problem is possible to fix. I could use extended mode, but it is frustrating when I play games where I dont use r1600x1200, it sometimes "throws" windows on tv, because desktop is extended to tv.

I hope that I made some sense
