EEK! Omega + Day of Defeat

Just installed Omegas to deal with uncooperative manfacturer's drivers.
Anyway, I'm having a problem with Day of Defeat, where the screen goes grey (HUD overlay and some game items still shown) at player spawn, but not before.

I'd been playing for a while (with this problem sometimes occuring when using the sniper scope) when suddenly I got this greyness at respawn.

Rebooting and reinstalling DoD has made no difference. D3D and Software modes are too slow to be playable.

Any ideas?

Had a very simular problem with the Game WoW. It turned out to be a bad driver install. It sounds like you been having driver problems by what your saying above. Though I dont have your specs or anything so I'm guessing here.

The way i fixed my problem was using the ATI uninstall tool "You may need to use Omega's uninstall utility". Then using driver cleaner pro "Google it". and do a reinstall.

If thats no help, my first proceedure would be to get the lattest MB drivers and install those, install the lattest DirectX and then the drivers of your choice.
