Still having driver installation problems.

I cannot get the 2 ? out of the device manager. I have followed all instuctions in the various sticky's, installed WDM and the AVIVO drivers before and after omega installation. Tried just WDM, then tried just AVIVO, I have pointed windows to the INF files, anyway I can think of to install the drivers but the ?'s wont go away? What am I missing?? The device manager shows omegas installed under display adaptor but those 2 ? still remain.

Perhaps you should try ATi drivers and see if that clears your problem.

yes the officals work perfect. my second computer:

asus p4c800
3g CPU
2g ddr
x800xtpe
audigy2

it works perfect with omegas. the funny thing here though is a friend of mine has that exact same computer as my second and he is having the problems that my first computer is having.
wow that all looks confusing, so my second computer works fine with omega's but my friends computer (which is same as my second) is having the same problem as my first. lol thats confusing

well the 6.4 cats work fine. i tried the 6.3cats and i get the same problem i have when trying to run the omega drivers. clearly something in the offical 6.3 and omegas that isnt agreeing with my setup.

well you have a Radeon 1900XTX (lucky devil) i'm not 100% sure but do the Omega 6.3's support the 1900XTX (not sure myself lol)? if not that maybe why

or simply the omega's don't recognise your card being
1. An ATI Card
or
2. A Radeon 1900XTX

decided to try the "chuck patch" drivers and they had the same results as the omegas and 6.3cats. looks like ill be sticking with the 6.4's till a new set comes out. kinda blows though, i wanted to play oblivion with HDR and AA
