??? Radeon 9200 Series / All-in-Wonder creates blue screen of death at bootup

Radeon 9200 Series / All-in-Wonder creates blue screen of death at bootup. I play Counter-Strike and after I finish playing for an hour or so, I quit the game and it starts to go back to windows and just shuts off completely. I then have to get my power plug that goes into the mobo and unplug and then plug back in to jump start my computer the next time I want to bring my computer back up. Can someone guide me to the exact website and give me instructions that will assist me in getting my computer to act right? It worked for 3 years before until I accidentally deleted my ati drivers and it started acting like this.

Thanks in advance,
Jason

Do you have another Powersupply you can try. This sounds more like a hardware issue to me. Heavy gameing really taxes the PSU and the fact that the computer is 3 years old doesn't help, It may be time for a PC upgrade.

I have faith in my abilities in putting a computer together - it's a good machine. I'm trying to sound modest in saying that - however, you bring up a good point. I go through power supplies like I go through a pair of socks. Once every 8 mos. or so. What's a good power supply brand?

I ment no disrespect its just, 3 year old componets can do all kinds of weird stuff that can make it a real pain to pinpoint problems like this. Caps start to fail, excessive heat etc.

First I would try to borrow a PSU and swap it out to see if it helps.

Also I recommend opening the case to inspect all fans and heat sinks "You mentioned that it takes a wile of hard use before it happens", Make sure the heatsink on the Video card is securly attached and not loose or full of dust "Had this happen to me once".

As far as PSU's go with a brand name, Toms hardware guide did a compairson i would check there. Try the link below.

Good luck and hope this helps.
