Cat 6.3 and mchInjDrv.sys...?

After Installing the new Cat 6.3's, my Norton has a spaz everytime I open up a game. It tells me that "mchInjDrv.sys" is a TojanHorse and that it "Failed to Repair" it.

I know for a fact that this is due to the cats as this NEVER happend previous to installation. And I don't have any Viruses or anything like that on here. Just that warning everytime I open up a game.

It's location is "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\mchInjDrv.sys". Everytime Norton finds it it deletes it from that DIR. It only happens once per boot also (I.e. when I get the error, close the game I opened, and open it again, it doesn't come up, but if I reboot it will).

Any tips would be good as I fear this might be causing other probs.

Hmmm...not in my computer. I also have the Cat 6.3's.

Did you even bother to search for this? I found a whole bunch of google links indicating it's used by a lot of malicious software. Just end the process, delete the registry entries to it, and remove it from your windows startup.

This file, nor any registry references, is not on my machine at all. I just installed the 6.3's yesterday.

Oh F me in the Fn A! I think I know how this bastard got here. When I installed the 6.3's I Disconnected from the Net and turned my Norton Off completely. It must have been on my HD and when i turned off Norotn it spread itself...or something like that anyway.

Im scanning with Norton now.
