I still have a problem. I thought it might have been the 6.2 driverss and resolved in the 6.3 but it aint.

I run a crossfire setup x1900's and the option called "Moniter Properties 0" or "Digital Moniter properties 0" is not in my list in CCC. i think its something to do with my setup as ive seen screenshots of ppls CCC when having crossfire and there option is present.

I dont know why it is not showing, i need it

CCC seems to have stabilized in terms of performance and is doing OK; bringing it up the first time still takes 4-7 seconds, but the second load is less than 1 second, and once it's active, all of the buttons and so forth are quite responsive to saving changes. (CCC has come a long way, I remember when just changing AA setting would involve a flash to black screen and huge laggy delays.)

Gave it an 8.

Well, if I try to install it first of all I realize that Fujitsu-Siemens-Notebooks still aren't supported. When I hack the Catalyst (via DHmod) to run on my system and I install the CCC, I can try to start CCC and a thread (cli.exe as far as I remember) ist startet but no window appears. and the taskbar-icon just delivers a part of the functionality.

Oh and btw. I would really like to know if someone made the ccc run on a non-supported notebook with widescreen. cuzz in the hacked 6.2 the "fullscreen with fixed aspect ratio"-option is missing.

I have to comment on these. I downloaded the CAT 6.3 and found them to raise the operativing temperature of my RADEON 9700 PRO by a measured 7o C and to decrease FPS in MS FS9.1 by 20%. AquaMark 3D scores went from 32,217 (CAT 6.1) to 31,176 ( CAT 6.3). Changes were reversible by re-installing the CAT 6.1. Sorry about that, this is the first set in a long time that has not improved my system's performance.

That's interesting; I have the same temp issue; CAT6.3 raised the temps of my AIW 800 XT a measured 6o C.

I don't notice any performance difference (CCC appears to load more quickly) but with summer approaching and the local electric rates skyrocketing, the additional heat in my room is very much unwelcome.

Is there anyway to UNDERCLOCK this board with these drivers?

You could underclock with ATITool, but since you're seeing no increases in performance, then you might as well rollback.

I really don't know if it's an overclocking issue; CCC Information Center, Graphics Hardware reports 500 MHz for Core and Memory Clock; I think 500 MHz is stock settings for the AIW 800 XT; I just suggested lowering the clock b/c it seems like a reasonable (possible?) solution for the upcoming summer, forcasted to be hotter than Hades around here (Central Atlantic, NE USA)

ATI tools are fine, but I thought you can't have them installed with CCC. I have grown to like CCC as ATI has improved them.

I also like the Omega Driver package, which includes the ATI tools, but I just reverted to CCC and "stock" drivers in an effort to keep things simple. I am most interested these days in stability (and keeping things cool and quiet) rather than raw performance.

Thanks for the reply.

I feel like I need to update my earlier post above; I re-downloaded and re-installed the 6.3 drivers and CCC and now have no issues with them. I don't see a huge increase in the Aquamark 3D scores that I use to benchmark, but I am no longer seeing artifacts in FS9.1 or Wings of War, and I am no longer seeing a temperature increase compared to the 6.1 or 6.2 CATs.

? Bad Download? Who knows, but they seem fine now.......
