DHzer0point 6.2 is out!
DHzer0point 6.2 Released!!
Release Notes:
*Based on the Official 6.2 Drivers
*New tweaks and optimizations to enhance driver performance and image quality.
*2 versions avalilable: one with the normal CP and another one with the CCC to reduce download size.
*This will be our last release with the normal CP since we're migrating to the CCC.
*DHzeer0point Video Acceleration and IQ tweaks for enhanced video playback
*Adaptive anti-Aliasing Performance mode enabled by default, we felt this gave a mcuh better Image quality without a noticiable performance loss. This is NOT the Case with the CCC release, you'll need to enable that on your own.
*H.264 Acceleeration enabled by default Requires compliant hardware and codec
*PCI LAtency set to BIOS defaults, this stops the video card from hogging the PCI bus and can reduce skipping and stuttering in certain games
We would also like to take the oppotunity to thank a few guys:
*Christian Famiglietta for designing our new logo.
*Robert McClelland and fobis (who turned to the Dark Side from "nVIDIA") for helping us test this set.
*Our other beta testers for helping us all this time.
*Driverheaven.net for all the suppot.
Grab yours at http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/zeropoint.htm
This is a real nice set. I can vouch for that!
Just FYI: CCC set is with Catalyst Control Center and CP set is just with the original Control Panel

Ok well when the setup file extracts all the files into program files blah blah, it doesn't appear to extract anything to do with Control Panel or Radlinker. I selected the check marks to install CP and Radlinker and it says something like C:\Program Files\DH\Radlinker does not exist.
Any ideas?
Also I had to use the mobility modder for my MR9800 256mb cause I kept getting the driver inf. not found error.

Umm, did you download the CP set? As for Radlinker, I'm not sure as I don't really use it, sorry.

hmmm, it seems that the CP package was mispackaged, so when a new set is up, we'll let you guys know. for now, the CCC package works fine.
also, you could try to move the stock CP files into the DHzp drivers since I don't think the CP is really modified...

So after installing the drivers with CCC, do you recommend changing anything in the CCC or leaving it at the standard default that it comes in with the driver set.

Do whatever you want with it, I suppose. Things like antialiasing and anisotropic filtering should obviously be set to what you want, and of course, depending on the game you will be playing. Little things like certain video settings and refresh rate overrides can also be safely tweaked with to meet your needs, I believe. However, I would strongly advise leaving SMARTGART settings alone.
Hope this answers your question,

Ok i tested these drivers in all the games i mentioned in the previous post, and it turns out these drivers are superior too the 6.2 CCC. In FPS, and quality for my x850XT. AT first i noticed the difference when in the map Nuke for Counter-Strike Source. I noticed that the FPS was constantly shuffling between red, yellow, and green in the underground bomb site by the water @ 1280 x 1024 4XAA, and 8XAF. So this made me skeptical at first and made me uninstall the drivers because i knew i had better full out 120 FPS in that area with the CCC 6.2s. But then after a fresh install and a trip too the same spot i noticed the FPS was at low 40s and 30s which didn't make sense, cause i knew i had high 120s and stuff their with the same drivers. So i then went into the CCC and turned on Geometry Instancing Which immediately made my FPS go back too 120 as usual in that spot. So looking at the numbers, you see that with the 6.2 CCC i had low 40s and 30s with Geometry Instancing off, and with the DHZer0point i had shuffling 50s, 60s, and so on( It was never fully red like the CCC 6.2s) So obviously with Geometry Instancing ON with the DHzer0points you will get a slight increase in FPS and amazing quality at the same time. So thank you so much guys, my testing is complete for source, and im sure from the looks of playing battlefield2 and F.E.A.R the same applys too these games too. Keep up the great work these are truely a great set, that i will be using for weeks too come untill the next release.
Oh, and the omegas LOL for the x850XT its a disaster... Playing the map Militia in source is a slide show. That was the end of those drivers for me lol.

The updated sets are out. The CCC set now installs CCC and the CP set installs CP.
The CP set still says DHzer0point .513, but it is the .62 set, so don't worry about that. And it also says it's going to install CCC instead of CP, but it will install CP, not CCC.
Happy gaming, everyone!

Hi. I only have an ATI 9800 Pro 128, P4 2.4, 1 gig RAM, and am reasonably happy with the Omega's based on the 6.1s. My main games are DoD:S and Raven Shield. RvS runs great but DoD:S stumbles quite a bit, FPS usually low 30's without HDR and with med details. Would these drivers be of any benefit to someone with an "older video card" like mine? Thanks !

You know, I would just love to be able to flat-out guarantee that these would be better for you, but I can't.
As you know, drivers vary from system to system, so I can't really just tell you, "Yeah, that'd work great!" or "No, don't even bother".
If you really want to find out, you're going to have to test the drivers for yourself. In this case, I can almost guarantee that you'll be pleased, but of course, there is the chance you may not be.
If you really want my opinion, I think that you would see a little performance and IQ boost. I did when I went from Omega 6.1 to this set. But, of course, I do have a different card than you....
Good luck.

The package comes with an uninstaller soley to uninstall the driver setup files installed somewhere on your computer, not to remove the actual already-installed display drivers.
To uninstall the display drivers once fully installed, you'll need to either do it manually through Add/Remove Programs or go the easy route and get the Catalyst Uninstaller directly from ATi's website and use that. Then, of course, running DriverCleaner Pro in safe mode is something one should always do when switching in between drivers.
