Awesome set fellas!!!

IQ is extraordinary and game play is definetly much smoother. I will always give up a few fps's for that!

Are you guys going to do a set based on the 6.3's? If not, no biggie. I can keep these for awhile.

Thanks again!

Yes, we're going to release a set based on the ATi 6.3. Just give us sometime to explore the new release and see what we can cook for you.:P

I gave these a try and they didn't work at all. Scrolling was choppy and irritating especially on my browsers among other problems.

I reverted back to the latest ExtremeGT set for now, but I'll try your next version because you get such good word it may just have been a weird glitch.

You used DriverCleaner Pro between driver installations, right?
And also, are you sure that everything was checked to "Enable" under the SMARTGART settings? If i turned anything off, I also got this scrolling problem.
And are you sure the driver was even installed? The installer you download does not actually install the drivers, just decompress the drivers to be installed. The choppy scrolling usually is a sign of no drivers or some other problems.
Good luck,

I use Driver Cleaner between all changes.

It may have been an installation problem, I'll try reinstalling them over the weekend if I don't get called in to work. Thanks for the advice

Hi,

If i go straight to device manager and select my graphic card and choose the update driver option and point it to where dh drivers are extracted, it will install the drivers. now what i'm wondering is, if this is an optimal way to install the driver? how do i go about installing the other components? i'm using the cp version. thanks for any help.

What other components would you like to install? To install CCC, open the folder which the Dhzer0point 6.2 setup extracted the driver install files to, and then go to ACE folder, and for WDM, go to WDM_ALL

I know that what he's talking about and it is not called extremeGT.... However, this thread is about DHzer0point drivers, not other drivers. You can compare this set to others, but this thread is not about where to get other drivers, Google is for that.

I think this problem is caused by ati tray tools which come with the omega drivers. Uninstall those first then the rest of the omega set. Then install the official mobile catalyst drivers and if u gert the inf error use the mobility modder. then install DHdrivers. In allthese steps use drive cleaner with only ati selected.

Thumbs Up!

well finally installed DHzer0point 6.2 and did some testing with a couple of games, and i have to say this the best set of drivers i have used so far for my mobility radeon 9600 128mb. i have noticable improvements in fps and iq. i don't expirement with diffrent drivers much, so i really wasn't expecting any noticeable improvements. but i was wrong. so thanks to the whole DHzer0point team for taking the time to put a fantastic set of drivers out to the community and looking forwards to your future efforts!.

If you receive an INF error uninstall your old set, reboot in safe mode use Drivercleaner and then reboot into regular mode, go to my computer-properties-hardware-devicemanager-choose your display adapter and point it to the inf in the drivers folder where the DHzp drivers extracted. It'll use that INF for installation and you should be able to install, there's a problem with the device recognition file which points to the INF in the installer obviosly for the x700 and the mobility 9600 thanks for the input this way we can get it straightened out for the 6.3's. for your 9600 mobility if possible can you post your Device ID? This way we can be sure we've covered all the possible 9600 DevID's. there really should only be one but new cards/revisions by a manufacturer could cause a different DevID.

to fin the device id, i just to device manager, go to properties for card and select the details tab. is this right? if so then my device id is:
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_4E50&SUBSYS_08001558&REV_00\4&56E B5F&0&0008

Thanks for your efforts and looking forward to the 6.3's.

I think the drivers support all mobility ati, but you have to install the drivers manually.

One question, is it necessary to install the ati cp? whatever setting i needed to change i've used radlinker and ati tay tools. so is there any need to install the ati cp?

Hello!
First off all thanks a lot for this impressive drivers. I've tried then on a LG-LW65 and the games worked really smoothed!
Now for a question, I've tried UT GOTY, and the game was WAY too fast in this laptop. None of my friends had issues and one of the computer was a lot better than this. Is it becouse of these drivers???
The specs on the LG-LW65 are:
Centrino 2.0
ATI X700 256MB + 256 MB (shared)
2x512 Ram (PC4300 Dual Channel)

another question,
The last set of drivers that I tried were the Radeon Omega 2.6.75a which had the ATI Tray Tools. These drivers don't have then, or I'm looking in the wrong place?? Is there any way of doing a bit of overclocking with these drivers?? Also is there any guide on what every option do, or which ones to mess about??
Thanks a lot!

No, you don't have to install the ATi CP or CCC. You can just ATi Tray Tools and Radlinker or whatever, if that's what you prefer.

You can download ATI Tray Tools manually and install them and scrap the CP or CCC if you want. You can overclock through ATI Tray Tools once you have it.

Thanks for the reply Fobis!

Just one more question, I saw that the Nvidia drivers had a HT/multi core optimization... do the ATI also have it?? or are they planning on doing it??
