Omega Drivers Radlinker Problem
I just repaired windows and during setup it asked for "radlinker1004ooem.msi"
I had a Radeon 9600 2 years ago and I used Radeon Omega Drivers for them. I'm guessing that when I deleted them I didn't uninstall them correctly. Anyway this was annoying but I found the version(2.530), downloaded it, and got the file. I copied it onto a disk and put it in. Good to go, right?
Wrong. It still said the file was missing. Only difference is before it would fail then go back to the "find the missing file" prompt and with the CD in it just kept installing, failing, undoing changes, and installing again in an endless loop. Obviously this file isn't integral to my computer's performance (Hell, I don't even use a Radeon card anymore). But it wouldn't let me just skip it.
I managed to finish the repair by just letting the error box sit there while everything else completed, but now when I try to log in it does the same shit, then freezes when I try to cancel. I've tried reinstalling and uninstalling the whole suite but it doesn't do anything. Help? Thanks.
