XP MCE2005 question

well after working at this store called compusmart for a while, ive been tempted by media center PCs quite a bit. i am thinking about switching over to xp media center edition and getting a tv wonder elite to go with it. question is that is MCE basically professional or home edition with the media center added on? i need lot of the advanced settings (group polices, user mgmt etc.) which home doesnt have. does MCE have all of pro's options as well? i know 2003 had lot of stability issues.

what do you guys think
